Middle/High School Special Education Teacher – Seeking a person with a strong background and thorough preparation in the area of Middle/High School Special Education. The successful candidate will have the ability to positively support their students through the education process experienced in a Middle/High School setting. This includes scheduling, conducting, and managing REED’s, IEP’s, Transitions and accommodations. Innovative teaching techniques and good classroom management skills required. Candidate should be well read and have a thorough knowledge of Middle/High School Special Education, legal requirements, FAPE, and a proven record for improving student achievement. Must meet “highly qualified” requirements, and have a certification to teach Middle/High School Special Education. Coaching opportunities available.
